Bio

I am a Research Associate at the Urban Institute. My research focuses on using public data to build good governance practices at the municipal level, with a focus on rental housing, direct cash transfers, and criminal justice systems. I graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a Master’s degree in City Planning and a Master's degree in Urban Spatial Analytics. Between undergraduate and graduate school I primarily worked on issues related to civic participation at organizations ranging from small NGOs to the UN, and from Bangladesh to Baltimore. I'm a big fan of maps. In my free time I enjoy being outside and being with my cat.
